Sounds like a cup of low or high pressure for change.
Make sure filters are clean, coil and condenser coils clean. Also check if the condenser is running.
If all these things you can do to a high-tech service HVAC appeal. It can lead to high pressure in the head or suction pressure too low. If you're lucky, you just have to go even a bad one.
Check the cables to the main powerhouse is in the unit. Tighten all connections screwdriver, Allen wrench, and so ho! Feeding the first unit in the main. See the table of the main switch in order to strengthen the cable goes wrong unit (s) connections bkr.no in bulk compressor. to call.
My best guess is that you have a wrong button. But why the switch to go bad first? It was a sort of age, namely, Federal Pacific, Zinsco, or just an old woman. Or maybe the compressor gone bad, too much power, which was initially too much emphasis on the power switch, which got worse, triggering more and more.
Have re-established? When you turn on the switch, more than likly have a weak breaker. In that 5 minutes before they travel abroad, not A / C to cool outside air? Shock or any hot air at the time. If the wind blows cold, then switch, so warm, then have to agree to check the camera out of a possible bad motor or compressor.
How old is the drive?
Sounds like the engines drawing too many amps for the change.
Get a better technology for the air conditioning there to check out the unit. Switch low - I doubt it.
